swinepigSwine Mammal from the family Of Suidae . Its snout is long and mobile, has heavy relatively short legs , with cloven hooves its hide is thick and bristly with a small tail.

The name swine is most often applied to the domestic breeds , and are also known as hogs. Sometimes they are called pigs, which is more correctly reserved for the young animals. There is no true swine of the genus (Sus) native to North America. Swine are valuable for their flesh, uses include , bacon, and pork, and there fat ( lard); and also provide many products, including leather, gloves, footballs, bristles for brushes.
