gibbonmonkeyGibbon Smallest of the anthroploid apes , found in South East Asia and the East Indies. Gibbons weigh on average 15 lbs. and have slender, tailess bodies and very long arms, which they use to swing through the trees with extraordinary speed and agility.

They are able to walk upright on the ground. Most gibbons have black faces surrounded by white ruff; they also have a very powerful voice.

Gibbons usually live in small family groups. They feed on mostly fruit and sometimes insects, spiders, small birds, and eggs.
