Crocodile Large carnivorous reptile of the crocodila, its body is covered with tough scales, underlying bony plates, it has powerful jaws small legs, and a long fattened tail.

Its head is more narrower , more pointed than that of the Alligator , and its long fourth tooth of the lower jaw can be seen when the mouth is closed, unlike the alligator it's not concealed in a cavity.

The man eaters of the crocodile family live in parts of Asia and North Australia and tropical Pacific islands and the Nile crocodile, was worshiped to and embalmed by some ancient Egyptians. The Indian and Malaysian gavials, has very narrow jaws and is known as the mugger of Indian crocodiles .
