Coyote Small Wolf, found from Mexico through the west and central United States, Alaska, and South Canada. It has long, heavy, tawny fur , with a bushy black tipped tail .

It hunts different kinds of small animals and when in packs it attacks larger mammals. It destroys some domestic animals but is a valuable scavenger and destroyer of rodents. Its yelping bark, is a dog like cry.
